Rosalie Martens

I’m a designer and photographer with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication from the University of Northampton, alongside a completed study in International Creative Business Developement from Cibap Vakschool and a Cambridge English C1 certificate.

Music and visual storytelling are the main inspiration for my work. I am particularly drawn to projects that allow me to explore a subject in depth to discover the stories and details that give a project meaning.

My work often combines colour and abstract shapes with a touch of physical elements. I also focus on finding the calm in the chaos and allowing the details to shine through. I’m mostly fascinated by finding meaning behind a project, therefore research is a crucial part in my creative process to enhance the visual storytelling.

As a senior multimedia journalist for Crave Music Magazine, I combine photography, design, and writing to tell stories through my articles. Alongside editorial work, I focus on music-related design projects ranging from posters and typography to vinyl packaging and mixed media animations.
